     Hi, I am Fr. Isaac Francis! I am the middle child in a family of seven children. I was raised in a practicing Catholic family and served in the Masses as a alter boy, choir member, or musician. I always liked being close to the action of the altar. After graduating from a Catholic High School, I became and Electrical Engineer and worked for the Air Force at Eglin AFB, Florida for seven years. After leading a very worldy, not so holy life, I was drawn to play trombone in a Christian Symphony. The example of living of faith of many of the protestants in the group, as well as working with wonderful Baptish men, I began to search for a deeper realtionship with God. I also happened to work where there were some wonderful charasmatics and they invited me to their prayer group. What a wonderful gift that prayer group, " The House of St. Joseph" has been for me. I recieved excellent formation and eventually perceived a calling to the priesthood. I  entered the dioesan seminary and studied philosohy and first year theology after which I left and recieved a "lay mans" degree in theology from the diocesan seminary in New Orleans. After that I taught High School religoin for two years at Tampa Catholic High School. During this time I was invited to attend our founder, Fr. Philip's, Bible Study and began to hang-out with the community. I entered in 1999 and have been blessed to be a member until now. I did of course, recieve ordination to the priesthood which occurred after completing my studies in the diocese of Chosica, Peru. I love being a member of this community and would not want to be anywhere else int the world.

     Hola, soy el P. Isaac Francis! Soy el hijo del medio en una familia de siete hijos. Me crié en una familia católica practicante y serví en las misas como alter boy, miembro del coro o músico. Siempre me gustó estar cerca de la acción del altar. Después de graduarme de una escuela secundaria católica, me convertí en ingeniero eléctrico y trabajé para la Fuerza Aérea en Eglin AFB, Florida, durante siete años. Después de llevar una vida muy mundana y no tan santa, me sentí atraído por tocar el trombón en una Sinfonía cristiana. El ejemplo de vida de fe de muchos de los protestantes en el grupo, además de trabajar con maravillosos hombres bautizados, comencé a buscar una relación más profunda con Dios. También sucedió que trabajé donde había algunos personajes maravillosos y me invitaron a su grupo de oración. Qué maravilloso regalo ha sido para mí ese grupo de oración, "La Casa de San José". Recibí una excelente formación y, finalmente, percibí un llamado al sacerdocio. Entré en el seminario dioesano y estudié filosofía y teología de primer año, después de lo cual me fui y recibí un título de "laico" en teología del seminario diocesano de Nueva Orleans. Después de eso enseñé religoin en la escuela secundaria durante dos años en la escuela secundaria católica de Tampa. Durante este tiempo fui invitado a asistir a nuestro fundador, el P. Philip's, Bible Study y comenzó a pasar el rato con la comunidad. Entré en 1999 y he tenido la suerte de ser miembro hasta ahora. Por supuesto, recibí la ordenación al sacerdocio que ocurrió después de completar mis estudios en la diócesis de Chosica, Perú. Me encanta ser miembro de esta comunidad y no me gustaría estar en ningún otro lugar del mundo.

My name is Mother Agnes Maria. I am from Convington, Louisiana and have been in the community almost 21 years. 
     I grew up Catholic but never considered religious life as an option until college. It was after my sophmore year that I began to sense the first prompting of a call. I ran because I wanted to be a wife and mom. Little did I know that this was preciesely what God was calling me to but on a much bigger scale.
     Our charism is living as a family and so here I am a mother within out community as well as to all who come in contact with in our apostolate. I love the home, the ordinary, and nature that surrounds us. I love to find Jesus in all these, in the quiet simple things of life. 

     Mi nombre es Madre Agnes Maria. Soy de Convington, Louisiana y he estado en la comunidad por casi 21 años.
      Crecí como católico, pero nunca consideré la vida religiosa como una opción hasta la universidad. Fue después de mi segundo año cuando comencé a sentir el primer impulso de una llamada. Corrí porque quería ser esposa y mamá. Poco sabía yo que esto era precisamente a lo que Dios me estaba llamando, pero en una escala mucho mayor.
​​​​​​​     Nuestro carisma es vivir en familia y aquí soy madre de nuestra comunidad y de todos los que entran en contacto con nuestro apostolado. Amo el hogar, lo ordinario y la naturaleza que nos rodea. Me encanta encontrar a Jesús en todo esto, en las cosas tranquilas y sencillas de la vida.

Hello, I'm Sr. Mary Therese!
         I was born and raised in New York in a Catholic Family and have 3 brothers. I am very grateful for the sacrifice of my parents in educating all of us, from 1st grade and all the way through High School in Catholic Schools. Looking back, I trust this played a larger role than I can comprehend in this life, of saving my vocation. I say this because my call was not discovered until late in life. I veared off the path for almost 10 years. However, I had a faithful mother who prayed much and I'm sure shed much tears as St. Monica did.
         So, on October 5th, 1996, those prayers and tears finally paid off. I accepted once again one of Mom's many invitationa to a Catholic Conference. However, ths one was different! By a God given Grace I responded and had a personal encounter with jesus in the Sacrament of Confession. That day "everything changed," although "nothing" changed of the crisis I was living. When the COnference ended, I knew God had a plan. The search for that plan led me to discover my vocation and answer the Call to this beautiful Community! God has remained faithful to His Promise to me!
         "As long as you continue to say yes, I'll take care of the rest!"

         Nací y crecí en Nueva York en una familia católica y tengo 3 hermanos. Estoy muy agradecido por el sacrificio de mis padres al educarnos a todos, desde el primer grado y hasta la secundaria en las escuelas católicas. Mirando hacia atrás, confío en que esto jugó un papel más importante del que puedo comprender en esta vida, de salvar mi vocación. Digo esto porque mi llamada no fue descubierta hasta muy avanzada la vida. Me aparté del camino durante casi 10 años. Sin embargo, tuve una madre fiel que rezó mucho y estoy seguro de que derramó muchas lágrimas como lo hizo Santa Mónica.
         Entonces, el 5 de octubre de 1996, esas oraciones y lágrimas finalmente dieron sus frutos. Acepté una vez más una de las muchas invitaciones de mamá a una conferencia católica. Sin embargo, ¡este era diferente! Por una gracia dada por Dios, respondí y tuve un encuentro personal con Jesús en el Sacramento de la Confesión. Ese día "todo cambió", aunque "nada" cambió de la crisis que estaba viviendo. Cuando terminó la conferencia, supe que Dios tenía un plan. ¡La búsqueda de ese plan me llevó a descubrir mi vocación y responder al Llamado a esta hermosa Comunidad! ¡Dios ha permanecido fiel a Su promesa para mí!
         "¡Mientras sigas diciendo que sí, yo me ocuparé del resto!"

     Hello my name is Sr. Gianna Mara! I was born in Bay Shore New York. My family and I moved to Florida when I was five years old. From a very young age I always had a lot of questions about God, but I never found anyone able to answer them. At seven years old I met my best friend and she began to introduce me to Jesus and some of my questions started to get answered. Although I always had this thirst to know God, I never practiced my Catholic faith. So, by the time I got to college I was really confused as to whether God was actually important or not. I went to Florida State and felt that I was open to whatever way the world-God-whatever. I just wanted answer for the thirst inside of me that had been with me since I was little. 
     God saw me and heard the cries of my heart and sent me some awesome people to reach out to me and brought me into a wonderful Catholic Community, the Catholic Student Union (CSU) at FSU. Through the Brotherhood of Hope and CSU God showed me that He was the answer to the thirs of my heart and I gave my life to Him after going on a Retreat my freshman year. From there, He continued to draw me and I started feeling a "dread" that He would ask me to be a sister. I had so many desires on my heart and I thought being a sister would never satisfy any of them. After more time just being with the Lord, I found that all of a sudden religious life was not something that He wanted for me, but I started feeling like maybe that was the way that I could fulfill my desire to be a spouse and a mother. Discerning my vocation was certainly a time of chaos for me, but at the end I found him asking me, "what do you want?" And as I looked at my heart, I realized all I wanted was Him!  
     There is a whole other story of how I found myself called to this community in Peru, but every step of the way He continued to show me His desire for me and His desire to fulfill my desires! I have experienced Him fill me, restore me, heal me, save me, and give me  me new life as I have given my life to Him in this community. It is a deep joy for me to be His bride and mother to all in our family community!

     Hola mi nombre es Hna. Gianna Mara! Nací en Bay Shore New York. Mi familia y yo nos mudamos a Florida cuando tenía cinco años. Desde muy joven siempre tuve muchas preguntas sobre Dios, pero nunca encontré a nadie capaz de responderlas. A los siete años conocí a mi mejor amiga y ella comenzó a presentarme a Jesús y algunas de mis preguntas comenzaron a recibir respuesta. Aunque siempre tuve esta sed de conocer a Dios, nunca practiqué mi fe católica.
     Entonces, cuando llegué a la universidad, estaba realmente confundido sobre si Dios era realmente importante o no. Fui al estado de Florida y sentí que estaba abierto a cualquier forma del mundo, Dios, lo que sea. Solo quería una respuesta para la sed dentro de mí que había estado conmigo desde que era pequeña.
Dios me vio y escuchó los gritos de mi corazón y me envió algunas personas maravillosas para acercarse a mí y llevarme a una maravillosa comunidad católica, la Unión de Estudiantes Católicos (CSU) en FSU. A través de la Hermandad de la Esperanza y CSU, Dios me mostró que Él era la respuesta a los deseos de mi corazón y le entregué mi vida después de ir a un Retiro en mi primer año. A partir de ahí, continuó dibujándome y comencé a sentir un "pavor" de que me pidiera que fuera hermana. Tenía tantos deseos en mi corazón y pensé que ser hermana nunca satisfaría ninguno de ellos. Después de más tiempo de estar con el Señor, descubrí que de repente la vida religiosa no era algo que Él quería para mí, pero comencé a sentir que tal vez esa era la forma en que podía cumplir mi deseo de ser esposa y madre. . Discernir mi vocación fue ciertamente un momento de caos para mí, pero al final lo encontré preguntándome, "¿qué quieres?" Y mientras miraba mi corazón, ¡me di cuenta de que todo lo que quería era Él!
     Hay una historia completamente diferente de cómo me encontré llamado a esta comunidad en Perú, pero en cada paso del camino, Él continuó mostrándome Su deseo por mí y Su deseo de cumplir mis deseos. He experimentado que Él me llena, me restaura, me sana, me salva y me da una nueva vida como le he entregado mi vida en esta comunidad. ¡Es un gran gozo para mí ser su esposa y madre para todos en nuestra comunidad de familia!
